The Verdan are an original species made by me which are a plant-based race that's feisty and wild, but very friendly and fun-loving. They live short lives ending with the flower bud on their back blossoming in what's known as a Death Bloom. Despite this, they choose to live their lives to the fullest, and without fear of the Death Bloom because they know that it's what secures their future. That's because the bloom is responsible for not only creating their offspring, but for passing down their memories to the next generation, giving them a sort of immortality.

I wanted to let you all know the lore of this species just to let you be informed, but don't worry, you can use these guys however you want. As always, you can easily reach me on either Discord or Twitter if you're curious about anything. <3

• Blender file included along with an extra blend file with separated meshes, allowing for simplified customization and optimization.
• Comes packaged with PSD files for each of the textures, allowing for easy texture customization.
• Comes with 34 customization options including 7 hairstyles, 6 hats, 7 head ornaments, 2 clothing options, 3 sets of cactus thorns, and 9 eye shapes.
• Includes a toggle to disable the Death Bloom as well as an animation to make it open.
• Includes a full suite of visemes and several shape keys allowing for facial expressions.
• Poiyomi 8.0.420 or newer required.
• Every hairstyle includes its own set of physbones aside from the Medusa hair, which instead has its own custom animation.
• Model comes equipped hue, saturation, and brightness sliders for each set of customization options.
• Thousands of potential styles with just the included avatar alone!

Instructions for creating an optimized Verdan:

1) Open VerdanCustomizable.blend

2) Select and unhide the meshes you want for your custom Verdan

3) Delete the rest of the hidden meshes

4) In edit mode on the armature, select the unused root bones and their children like this, or with the hotkey Shift + G

5) Select remaining meshes like this and join them with Ctrl + J

6) Save the blend file under a new name and take it into your unity project, using the avatar provided in the unitypackage as a guide.
